Here are four problems to practice. There are hints and videos if you need help. Successfully completing these problesm will let you know that you know how to add and subtract mixed numbers.

1. Subtract.

$8\frac{4}{5}-\frac{1}{2}=$

2. Add.

$4 \dfrac{1}{2}+1 \dfrac{2}{5}=$

3. Subtract.

$6 \dfrac{2}{5}-3\dfrac{1}{4}=$

4. Add.

$\dfrac{2}{3}+2 \dfrac{1}{6}=$
