Punctuation Matters: Let’s Practice
Now that we know how to use end-of-sentence punctuation and some common internal punctuation marks as well, let's put our knowledge into practice.These activities give you the opportunity to find out how well you understand the appropriate use of the most common punctuation marks in English. If you have a difficult time using end-of-sentence or internal punctuation, you may return to review the information above and then try these practice activities again.
Activity 1
For each of the following, choose whether a comma (,) or semicolon (;) is correct.
