The second is an example of a one-step equation written in a form *x/a = b*. Sal Khan uses this example to highlight that division is really the same operation as multiplication. The third contains examples of the equations of the form *ax = b*, but in some of them *a* and *b* are fractions. Instead of dividing by a fraction (*a*), you can multiply both sides of the equation by its reciprocal.
