False Positives / False Negatives / Confusion Matrix

View
Can you define true positives, true negatives, false positives, and false negatives? Note that the speaker here misspeaks at 4:15 when he says and writes "False Negative"/FN, even though he means false positive and points to the correct cell in the grid. Despite this small mistake, these concepts are explained well here. The grid the author uses (also called the "confusion matrix") can be generalized to more than two classes.
