There are 8 parts of Speech
1. Noun- name of persons, things, places and time. (Peter, Wednesday, Philippines, dog)
2. Pronoun- they substitute nouns ( brother, she, they, girl, street, country)
3. Verb - describe the state or being of the noun ( jump, read, cook, run)
4. Adverb-modifies the verb, adjective or another adverb (quickly, gently)
5. Adjective- describes the nouns or pronouns (beautiful, huge, smart, honest)
6. Preposition- state relationship, location and time. It links nouns or pronoun or phrase with in a sentence (at, in, on by, for)
7. Conjunction - words that connects two or more events or things at the same time (and, but, if)
8. Interjection- expresses feelings (wow, uh-oh, um, argh)
