Last year, my family planned a surprise birthday party for my dad. We spent weeks preparing—my mom baked his favorite chocolate cake, my sister decorated the living room, and I took care of the invitations. Everything was going perfectly until the moment he arrived home.
We had planned to turn off the lights and jump out yelling, “Surprise!” But just as he opened the door, my little brother panicked and accidentally knocked over the cake! It landed upside down on the floor, completely ruined. Everyone froze for a second, then burst into laughter.
