One summer, my family and I decided to take a road trip to the mountains. We woke up early, packed our bags, and left before sunrise. The drive was long but exciting because we played games, listened to music, and shared funny stories along the way.
When we finally arrived, the view was breathtaking. The mountains stood tall, covered in lush green trees, and the air smelled fresh and clean. My younger brother, who had never seen mountains before, ran around in excitement. We set up our tents, cooked dinner over a campfire, and spent the evening telling ghost stories.
In the middle of the night, we heard a strange noise outside the tent. My dad grabbed a flashlight and unzipped the tent slowly. To our surprise, a raccoon was rummaging through our food supplies! We all laughed as my dad shooed it away, but we learned an important lesson—always secure your food when camping!
That trip remains one of my favourite family memories.
