Today, I tried using the "Word Map" strategy to build my vocabulary.
I picked a new word I came across while reading an article: “resilient.”
I wrote it in the center of the page and mapped out the following:

Definition: Able to recover quickly from difficulties.

Synonym: Strong, tough, flexible

Antonym: Weak, fragile

Example sentence: She remained resilient even after losing her job.
This strategy helped me understand the word deeply, not just memorize it. Seeing its connections with synonyms and usage made it easier to remember.
