Chronological Order – In Easy Words
Definition:
Chronological order means putting events or steps in the order they happened — from first to last.
🔹 Think of it like a timeline!
You start with what happened first, then next, and finally what happened last.
Example (Daily Routine):
In Chronological Order:
-
I wake up.
-
I brush my teeth.
-
I eat breakfast.
-
I go to school.
This shows what happens step by step, in time order.
Another Example (Story):
Wrong Order (not chronological):
I went to sleep. I played football. I woke up.
Right Order (chronological):
-
I woke up.
-
I played football.
-
I went to sleep.
📌 Tip:
Words like first, next, then, after that, and finally are often used in chronological writing.
