Vocabulary Building Discussion

I tried the flashcard strategy to build my vocabulary. I wrote down new words along with their meanings and reviewed them several times during the day. The strategy worked well because it helped me remember the words more easily. I learned new words and felt more confident using them. I will continue using this method to improve my vocabulary.

I used this strategy with five new words:

1. Meticulous

2. Ambiguous

3. Catalyst

4. Benevolent

5. Incessant

yes, it worked well for me! Seeing the words used in meaningful sentences helped me understand and remember them better than just memorizing definitions. Reading and writing my own sentences also reinforced their usage. I reviewed them a few times throughout the day, and I already feel more confident using them in my own writing.
