SVOMPT stands for SUBJECT-VERB-OBJECT-MANNER-PLACE-TIME, which is the typical structure of an affirmative English sentence.
EXAMPLE: I met her in front of the cinema at 8 o'clock.
S (I)
V (met)
O (her)
P (in front of the cinema)
T (at 8 o'clock)
While the SVO CORE must remain intact for clarity, the MPT ADJUNCTS (manner, place, time) are flexible; time often moves to the front (''Yesterday, I met her...''), or neutral order (M-P-T) is used at the end without changing meaning.
