In this activity, I practiced breaking down sentences into the SVOMPT pattern to understand sentence structure better. Here are the sentences I analyzed:
Robert lives in an apartment.
S: Robert , V: lives , P: in an apartment
He loves his job.
S: He , V: loves , O: his job
His wife teaches college courses.
S: His wife , V: teaches , O: college courses
They work in the mornings.
S: They , V: work , T: in the mornings
This exercise helped me recognize how every complete sentence has a subject and a verb, and how other parts like object, place, or time can make it more informative.
