I have used several strategies to improve my vocabulary. One of them is reading voraciously. I love reading novels about love and adventure, and I usually learn new words every time. If I am unsure of the meaning of new words I come across reading, I would pick up a dictionary or I go online and find the meaning of the word on google. I also find having to constantly converse in English with a friend helps a lot to improve my vocabulary.
