There are 8 parts of speech that I learn today:
a. Nouns: name a person, place, thing or idea. Example: cat, dog, Rachel, etc
b. Adjectives: describes nouns or pronouns. Example: The dog is cute
c. Pronouns: replace nouns. Example: He loves eating that food
d. Verbs: describe an action or a state. Example: Roberts walks to work
e. Adverbs: describe verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs. Example: They walk quite fast
f. Conjunctions: connect words, phrases or sentences. Example: Rachel and Clare are friends
g. Prepositions: show of relationship of place, time or locations. Example: Rachel works at big company
h. Interjections: spoken or written expression of emotion. Example: Wow! This drink tastes good.
