I used context clues as my vocabulary-building strategy today. Whenever I encountered an unfamiliar word while reading, I looked at the whole sentence to get an idea of what the word meant before searching it in the dictionary. For me, this is an effective method because it allows me to keep reading without interruptions which helps me remember the words better. For example, I learned the word meander, which means to move or wander without a fixed direction.
