Today, I tried the strategy of using new words in sentences to help remember them better. After reading an article online, I wrote down unfamiliar words and looked up their meanings. Then, I made my own sentences using each word. This helped me understand the words in context and made them easier to recall. Some of the new words I learned were meticulous (showing great attention to detail), vivid (clear and detailed), and serene (calm and peaceful). I think this strategy worked well for me because it made the learning active, not just memorizing definitions.
