Hi, Everyone,

I chose to try the strategy of making a personal lexicon to build my vocabulary. This means I wrote down new words I encounter along with their meanings and example sentences. It worked well for me because it helped me remember the words better by actively using them.

Today, I learned words like "carnival," "bathtub race," and "dragon boat" from reading about festivals in British Columbia. Writing these words down made me feel more confident in understanding and using them.

Using a personal lexicon is a great way to organize new vocabulary and review it regularly, helping me expand my language skills effectively.
