I learnt a lot from this exercise.
1. Nouns are words which name a person, place, things or ideas.
Examples: Dog, Christ, Success etc.
2. Pronouns are words that replace a noun in a sentence.
Examples: He, She, It, They etc.
3. Adjectives are words that describe a noun and a pronoun.
Examples: Smart, Cute, Expensive, Black etc.
4. Verbs are words which describe an action or a state.
Examples: Fight, Dance, Eat, Sleep, Write etc.
5. Adverbs are words which describe a verb, an adjective and other adverb.
Examples: Clearly, Happily, Well, Always.
6. Preposition are words which show a relationship of place, time, location or direction between words.
Examples :In, On, Over, At, To.
7. Conjunction are words that connect words, phrases and clauses.
Examples: And, So, Because, But.
8. Interjection are words which help express emotions in a sentence.
Examples: Oh!, Oops, Hurray!.
