The diligent ant scurried along the warm sidewalk. It was carrying a large , juicy crumb. A little boy, named Leo, watched from his porch. He was bored. Suddenly, he saw the ant and its crumb. Leo decided to help the ant. He carefully placed a small stick in the ant's path. The ant, however, was not amused. It bravely climbed over the stick and continued the journey. Leo laughed and then felt a little silly. He removed the stick and watched the determined ant disappear into a tiny hole, its prize safe and sound.
