Today, I tried the flashcard strategy to build my vocabulary. I wrote new words on one side and their meanings with example sentences on the other side. This strategy worked well for me because I could review the words many times and test myself.
The new words I learned today are:
- encourage – to give someone support or confidence
- discover – to find something for the first time
- confident – feeling sure about yourself
I think using flashcards helps me remember words more easily, and I will continue to use this method to improve my vocabulary.
