My Introduction

Hello, my name is Deane. I live in the Philippines, and my hometown is peaceful and friendly. (SVC – declarative)

I am a student, but I also help my family with small business tasks. (SVC + compound sentence – declarative)

I really like reading books and watching movies, especially when I have free time. (SVO – declarative)

However, I don’t like being late because I always value time. (SVO – declarative, with negation)

Do you also enjoy reading novels? (SVO – interrogative)

Sometimes, when I am tired, I prefer to listen to music because it makes me relax. (SVO – complex sentence – declarative)

Sentence Patterns & Types Used:
