For this activity, I used the short text provided. I identified the sentence pattern and placed each part into the SVOMPT table.

Text:

Robert lives in an apartment. He loves his job. His wife teaches college courses. They work in the mornings.

Sentence Structure Table

| Subject (WHO) | Verb (does) | Object (WHAT) | Manner (HOW) | Place (WHERE) | Time (WHEN) |

| ------------- | ----------- | --------------- | ------------ | --------------- | --------------- |

| Robert | lives | | | in an apartment | |

| He | loves | his job | | | |

| His wife | teaches | college courses | | | |

| They | work | | | | in the mornings |

Reflection:

I noticed that some sentences only need a subject and verb, while others also include an object, place, or time. This activity helped me see how sentence parts can be organized more clearly.
