-
Sentence: The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
-
Noun: fox, dog
-
Adjective: quick, brown, lazy
-
Verb: jumps
-
Article: the
-
Preposition: over
-
-
Sentence: She sings beautifully in the morning.
-
Pronoun: she
-
Verb: sings
-
Adverb: beautifully
-
Preposition: in
-
Noun: morning
-
-
Sentence: I cannot believe how amazing this lesson is!
-
Pronoun: I, this
-
Verb: cannot believe, is
-

-

These examples helped me notice how parts of speech work together to make clear and meaningful sentences. I think adjectives and adverbs are especially important because they add details and make writing more interesting.
I’m looking forward to seeing which sentences my classmates found important and which parts of speech they noticed.
