Today, I tried the context clues strategy to build my vocabulary. I read a short article about renewable energy and tried to understand new words by looking at the sentences around them.
This strategy worked well for me. I learned the meaning of words like:

Photovoltaic – related to converting sunlight into electricity

Hybrid system – a system that combines more than one energy source

Efficiency – how well something works compared to the energy used
By using context clues, I could guess the meaning of these words without checking a dictionary, which helped me remember them better.
I think this strategy is very helpful because it allows me to learn new words naturally while reading. Next time, I want to try combining it with making flashcards to remember the words longer.
