I learned that parts of speech are the basic building blocks of English. There are eight of them—nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections. Each has its own role in making sentences meaningful, and knowing them helps me write clearly, avoid mistakes, and improve my communication.
