I made the decision to try expanding my vocabulary using the context clues technique. I came across a number of strange terminology while reading an article. I concentrated on the surrounding sentences to determine their meanings rather than just searching them up. For instance, I discovered that the word "meticulous" was used to characterize someone who often cleaned their desk and organized their belongings in tidy heaps. This led me to believe that "meticulous" refers to paying attention to details.

Because it helped me grasp the word in context, this method helped me recall it more easily. I intend to continue using this strategy and supplement it with subsequent definition searches to validate my hypotheses
