I often encounter new and profound English words which I forget easily even after looking up their definitions. That is why I tried the strategy Use it or Lose it. The word whose meaning I often forget is "mischievous". So, following the strategy, what I did to remember it longer is write it down, say it aloud, use the word in a sentence, and use it while speaking to my little brother. Since I have just tried it, I am not yet sure of its effectiveness. Still, I am confident that it will work! I will remember the strategy and use it from now on.
