I do not have a very interesting life - well, at least for me, that is how it seems. My daily life almost seems like repetitive. There is nothing new, except when something unexpectedly happens.
First thing I do after waking up is browse my phone for messages. However, that isn't how it should be. I should be praying and doing my devotional first thing in the morning, but I often neglect it either because I have woken up late or I am lazy to do it. I do my common routine and ride two jeepneys going to the university I am studying at.
Between morning and evening, you can find me in our campus with my few friends hanging out by the canteen or the library. Oftentimes, we are not met by our instructors, that's why we doze off to sleep on our desks or play Uno cards. I have a funny friend named Eunice who is a beautiful, chubby, small girl who has a talent in calligraphy. I also have a wonderful friend which I have also treated as a sister named Noelyn. She is kind, generous, and I love her for being a listener and a sharer as well whenever we talk about things like religion, science, and other philosophical things.
I usually commute going home around 5 in the afternoon. Commuting takes two cutting trips where one trip takes around 45 minutes - the reason why I often come home late in the evening feeling tired and sleepy. For this reason, I don't study at home. There are also times when I tutor during evening in my client's home. Don't worry, they are harmless. The one I am tutoring are the Grade 7 and Grade 11 sons of our Pastor. Although it's hard to teach the younger one, I take it as a challenge and an opportunity for me to learn as well.
Now that I have come to the end of this paper, I begin to realize that my days aren't so redundant. It's just that I look at the things which tire me the most. But when I get to see the little details, I get a warm feeling knowing that those moments are what makes my life different from others. Life is hard, as what I am telling myself always, but God is good and He never fails.
