Today, I tried using context clues to learn new vocabulary words.
I read a short article and looked at the words around any unfamiliar words to guess their meaning before checking a dictionary. It worked really well because I could often figure out the meaning without stopping to look every word up.
New words I learned today:
- Discombobulated – confused or disoriented.
- Interactive – allowing active participation.
Strategy I chose: Using context clues. I will keep practicing this because it helps me understand new words faster and remember them better.
If you want, I can also make an even shorter version that’s perfect for posting in a discussion forum. Do you want me to do that?
