"Prepositional phrases can be added at the start of a sentence or inside it to add extra information. They act as adjectives or adverbs by describing a noun or a verb." 

I also learned there are three main categories of prepositions. I will give examples of each of these. 

1. Time - Dad works during school hours. 

2. Place - I put my new pens in my pencil pouch.  

3. Movement - She walked to work from home.
