I chose to use the context clues strategy to build my vocabulary today. While reading an article, I tried to infer the meanings of unfamiliar words based on the surrounding text before verifying them in the dictionary. This approach helped me understand how words function in real contexts and improved my retention. Through this activity, I learned words such as “resilient” (able to recover quickly) and “meticulous” (very careful and detailed). Overall, the strategy was effective and made vocabulary learning more meaningful.
