Nouns, can name a person, place, thing or idea. They can be common or proper .

Ex : Accountants are always busy.


Adjectives, describe nouns and come before nouns. they don’t have a plural form

Ex : Accountants are always busy.


Pronouns, take a noun's place

Ex : They work late at night..


Verbs, describe an action or a state

Ex : Accountants are always busy.


Adverbs, describe verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs

Ex : Accountants are always busy.


Conjunctions, are used to connect words, phrases, or sentences (FANBOYS)

Ex : Accountants are always busy and they work late at night.


Prepositions, show a relationship of place, time, or location between nouns and pronouns and the rest of a sentence

Ex : They work late at night..


interjection, spoken or written expression of emotion

Ex : Aww ! My cat is so cute
