My Answer:

Today, I tried the context clue strategy to build my vocabulary. When I read an article about renewable energy, I came across unfamiliar words like sustainable, efficient, and innovative. Instead of immediately checking the dictionary, I looked at the surrounding sentences to guess their meanings. For example, from the sentence “Solar power is a sustainable source of energy because it can be renewed naturally,” I understood that sustainable means something that can last for a long time without running out.

This strategy worked well for me because it helped me understand words based on context and remember them easily. Later, I confirmed their meanings using a dictionary, which made me more confident about using them in my own writing.

The new words I learned today are sustainable, efficient, and innovative. I plan to keep using the context clue strategy whenever I read new articles or textbooks.
