Sentence Types Discussion
There are four main types of sentences in English:
1. Declarative Sentence – used to state a fact or opinion.
Example: She likes coffee.
2. Interrogative Sentence – used to ask a question.
Example: Do you like coffee?
3. Imperative Sentence – used to give a command or make a request.
Example: Please sit down.
4. Exclamatory Sentence – used to express strong feelings or emotions.
Example: What a beautiful day!
