There are 8 parts of Speech. 1. Noun is name of things, places or animals. 2. pronouns which replace the noun. 3. verb it is the action of noun or state. 4. adjective describes the noun. 5. adverb modify verbs, adjectivbe, or adverbs. 6. preposition shows relationship. 7. conjuctions join words or clauses. and lastly interjection express emotion. The part of speech indicates how the word functions in meaning as well as grammatically within the sentence.
