Strategy I tried: Use It or Lose It
Today, I decided to try the Use It or Lose It strategy by practicing new words in conversation. I picked three words I recently learned — versatile, meticulous, and innovative — and made a conscious effort to use them while chatting.
How it worked: It really helped! Speaking the words out loud made them easier to remember, and I felt more confident using them naturally in sentences. It also made my conversations more interesting.
New words I learned: Versatile – able to do many different things well.
Meticulous – showing great attention to detail.
Innovative – introducing new ideas or methods.
Reflection: This strategy worked well for me because it turned vocabulary practice into something social and fun. I plan to keep using it by adding new words to my daily conversations.
