My today's preferred strategy: Diversifying
Often, I found nearly similar words and phrases in my specialization (i.e., Geology). As various terms are never heard in Geology, I tried to look for topics in other disciplines. Here is one of the sentences I found today while searching for the terms' land use' and 'land cover' with an AI tool.
"There isn't a perfect, sharp line between a forest and a grassland; it often blends. The boundaries are fuzzy."
The word in bold type is now strange to me. But I tried to find its meaning from the context. I then suppose that 'fuzzy' means a uniform type with no distinct limit. I now type the word in Merriam-Webster dictionary. It is defined as "lacking in clarity or definition: Oh, it does match with the clues.
To better remember, I am making my own sentences using different parts of speeches as follows.
1. The color variation between my T-shirt and socks is fuzzy.
2. A geologist fuzzily outlined the magnitude of the earthquake in Ethiopia.
I can't miss it.
Thank you.
