At 6:00 AM, I wake up slowly out of bed,
Slip my feet into slippers, and shuffle across the floor ahead.
I head to the bathroom, preparing for the day,
Not sure what’s in store, but ready to find my way.

I enter the kitchen, greeted with my first surprise,
A plate of crepes with honey, making my tired eyes rise.
After breakfast, I get dressed, ready to go,
I don’t want to be late, so I quickly gather my flow.

At the school, it’s a bump and grind,
Teaching the children, with the clock always on my mind.
Mid-afternoon comes, and I eat my lunch with ease,
Feeling drained but pushing through, hoping for a little peace.

The day rolls on, the children at play,
While I prepare the lesson for tomorrow’s bright day.
Then I glance at the clock, and it's time to go,
A quick goodbye to my students, and I’m ready to hit the road.

I jump on my motorcycle, feeling the air,
Traffic's bumper to bumper, but patience gets me there.
I finally arrive home, with horns blaring behind,
Unlock the door, sighing—another day I’ve left behind.

As I lay on my bed, ready for rest,
My son enters the room, asking how my day was, at best.
I tell him all about it, and as I speak,
All the stress melts away, and I feel at peace, unique.
