Hello Class,
Following the example provided in the lesson, I've analyzed a new set of sentences to identify their basic structure. I focused on breaking down the core elements: Subject, Verb, and Object, and then identifying the modifiers for Manner, Place, and Time.
[Insert the new sentences you were asked to analyze here]
Sentence Structure Table
| Subject (WHO/WHAT) | Verb (does) | Object (WHAT) | Manner (HOW) | Place (WHERE) | Time (WHEN) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| (Your first subject) | (Your first verb) | (Your first object) | (Manner) | (Place) | (Time) |
| (Your second subject) | (Your second verb) | (Your second object) | (Manner) | (Place) | (Time) |
| (Continue for all sentences) | | | | | |
I found that identifying the Object was sometimes tricky, especially when the sentence didn't have one (intransitive verb).
What sentences did you choose to analyze, and did you have any challenges with the Place or Time columns?
