I have so far learned new insights from the parts of speech section and these include the following:
Previously I had no idea about the structure of noun phrases, but now I know it. article + noun= noun phrase, article + adjective+ noun= noun phrase. Therefore, I will no longer get confused about noun phrases.
The other crucial insight that I have learned is the 'adverbs of degree' such as very, quiet, really, extremely.
Most importantly, I have never known that prepositional phrases act as adverbs or adjectives and add extra information to the sentences.
All in all, the lessons learned so far will aid my reading and writing skills which is why I enrolled into this course in the first place.
