From the Parts of Speech lesson, I gained a deeper understanding of how words work together in sentences.
In the noun section, I learned that some nouns change their spelling when forming plurals, especially nouns that change from F to V, such as knife becoming knives.
In the verb section, I learned that verbs can show actions, states, or conditions, and that there are different types of verbs used in English sentences.
The section I enjoyed the most was interjections because it introduced fun and expressive words like Ew, Ugh, Ow, Aww, Aha, and Shhh, which clearly show feelings and reactions.
I also learned that conjunctions are categorized into different types. Learning about coordinating conjunctions, known by the acronym FANBOYS, was especially useful because it helps connect ideas clearly in sentences.
