Today, I learned about the context clues strategy to build my vocabulary. I read the passage carefully and looked at the surrounding sentences to understand the meaning of new words. This strategy worked well for me because I did not need to use a dictionary every time. I learned new words like “strategy,” “preview,” and “identify.” Using context clues helped me remember the words better and improved my reading confidence. I will continue using this strategy while reading.
