Today, I tried the context clues strategy to build my vocabulary. While reading an article, I focused on understanding the meaning of unfamiliar words by looking at the surrounding sentences instead of immediately using a dictionary. This strategy worked well for me because it helped me understand the words naturally and remember them better.
Some new words I learned were “inevitable,” “significant,” and “adapt.” By seeing how these words were used in sentences, I could guess their meanings and then confirm them later. This made learning new vocabulary easier and more interesting.
