Phrase are not a complete sentence but they make a complete sense. And phrase do not have any SVO format and simplest thing to understand. Some common example of the phrase are:
1 "On the same page" means share equal understanding with someone.
used in sentence : Let's make sure we are at the same page before we move forward with the plan.
2. "Cut to the chase" means get to the point, or interesting part of the conversation.
use in sentence: Don't take too much time to talk just cut to the chase and finish it.
