Today, I tried a vocabulary strategy called learning words through context and sentence creation. I chose this strategy because it helps me understand not only the meaning of a word, but also how to use it correctly in real situations.

First, I read a short English article and highlighted unfamiliar words. Then, I guessed their meanings from the context before checking the dictionary. After that, I wrote my own sentences using each new word. This helped me remember them more easily.

Some new words I learned today are maintain, emphasize, and approach. For example, I wrote: “It is important to maintain consistency when learning English every day.” Creating my own sentences made the words feel more natural and easier to remember.

This strategy worked well for me because it improved both my understanding and my confidence in using new vocabulary. I plan to continue using this method to build my vocabulary more effectively.
