It must have:
Subject – who or what
Verb (Predicate) – action or state
Example: She is reading.
Types of Sentences (by purpose):
1. Declarative – makes a statement
I am happy.
2. Interrogative – asks a question
Are you ready?
3. Imperative – gives a command
Open the door.
4. Exclamatory – shows strong feeling
