"Robert lives in an apartment. He loves his job. His wife teaches college courses. They work in the mornings."
My Analysis:
Sentence 1: "Robert lives in an apartment."
  • Subject: Robert
  • Verb: lives
  • Place: in an apartment
Sentence 2: "He loves his job."
  • Subject: He
  • Verb: loves
  • Object: his job
Sentence 3: "His wife teaches college courses."
  • Subject: His wife
  • Verb: teaches
  • Object: college courses
Sentence 4: "They work in the mornings."
  • Subject: They
  • Verb: work
  • Time: in the mornings
What I noticed: Not every sentence has all the SVOMPT components. Some sentences only have Subject + Verb + one other element. It's interesting how the pattern changes based on what information the writer wants to convey.
