I used to rely on my dictionary every time I see unfamiliar words in a text. And I have been using the context and definitions reading methods unconsciously but now I have learnt more details about how can I apply other alternatives strategies. For instance, I can analyze the synonyms, antonym, and affixes around the words that I don't know before. And these strategies are effective and helpful for me.
