I tried the context clues strategy to build my vocabulary. I read a short article and whenever I saw an unfamiliar word, I looked at the surrounding sentences to guess its meaning before checking the dictionary. This worked well because I was able to figure out words like resilient (able to recover quickly) and innovative (showing creativity and new ideas). Using context clues helped me understand the words more naturally, and I think it’s a strategy I can keep practicing to expand my vocabulary.
