There are 8 part of speech which includes:
Noun - Noun names a place,person, things or ideas e.g cat,teacher, door ,etc.
Pronoun- it replaces a noun e.g he,she, they, etc.
Adjective -it describes a noun or a pronoun e.g The man has a white car.
Verb- it describes an action (what the person does) or a state of being(who the person is). Verbs are the most important in a sentence, without it,a sentence is considered incomplete. e.g be,do ,is,have, walk, run, climb etc.
Adverbs- they describes a verb, adjectives or other adverbs . e.g quickly,happily,fast,far,etc.
Conjunction - they connect phrases, clauses and sentences together. We have 3 types which are coordinating conjunction, subordinating conjunction and correlative conjunction. Examples of conjunction are for,or ,but ,and ,etc.
Preposition- it shows relationship of place, time or location between noun or pronoun and the rest of a sentence. e.g on,in, above,below, etc .
Interjection - they are used to express one's feelings like excitement, sadness and they are always punctuated (that is,they have punctuation marks). e.g hey!,oops! Ewww!!.
